SkillFUL project organized a 4 day training session from 16 to 19 July, 2012; with an objective to develop the skills and capacity in finance and procurement of the Training Service Providers (TSPs), at BRAC Learning Center, Uttara.

The key objective of this training was to develop the capacity of the TSPs on financial and procurement issues so that they are able to maintain the national procurement system and financial processes. Different methods were used for an effective participation. Group exercise, demonstration and performance evaluation were modeled during the training session.

A total of 26 participants from different TSPs and 4 project staffs with the facilitator were present in the training session. At the end of the training SkillFUL project awarded certificates to the participants who completed the training successfully. Expected outcome of the training was that the representatives of the TSPs will be able to carry out procurement and financial activities as per the norms and accepted standards in each TSP.
