SkillFUL arranged an awareness program on June 27, 2012 with potential female beneficiaries in Bou Bazar-Ibrahimpur, Dhaka. The program was organized by Shatapdhi Fashion Design a newly partnered service provider of SkillFUL project. More than 40 female participants from nearby slum areas were present during the program.  The main objective of the program was to inform the participants about the benefits of skills development training and to motivate them to enroll in such programs. Ms. Mahmuda, Proprietor, Shatapdhi Fashion Design informed the participants about the training programs being offered at her training center and how interested participants can enroll. To encourage participants, 22 year Arjina who has just graduated from Dhaka Ahsania Mission in tailoring trade spoke about her success in securing a job.  Ms. Humaira, Coordinator- Social Issues, Awareness & Advocacy, Ms. Angelina Cynthia, Officer – Communications and Mr. Muhammad Mominul Islam- Project Officer from SkillFUL project were present in the program.

The participants were shown a documentary video on skills development developed by SkillFUL.
